TUCSON EVENT II
by Philip Caputo | Mar 13, 2015 | The Longest Road | 6 comments
Hi Phil,
It’s been a long time since our Moscow days but in seeing your picture I would have known you anywhere. It’s interesting to read all the comments on your various books & travels. I have a nephew in Tucson but I haven’t been to Tucson since we burried my brother there nearly 9 years ago. If I could be there it’s for sure I would come to your event to see you after these many years. Good for you for following your dream. Marilyn
Good to hear from you, Marilyn. Moscow seems like another lifetime.
Hi Phil, I’m wondering if they ever made a DVD of your 1st book A Rumor or War? I tried Amazon but couldn’t find anything. We were still over seas when it aired on TV so never got to see it. Of course Ron and I both read your book. I need to read it again one of these days since it’s been so long since I did read it. Marilyn
We think of you guys and identify with your being together and engaged in interesting action. Consider us your dependable stopover when the need arises. Leave some time for conversation. Enjoy your spring.
Warmest regards,
Tony and Lavada
Thanks for the kind thoughts. Working on the new book and playing gigs like this one literally leave me at a loss for words, but know that I. Appreciate hearing from you. Leslie, too. She points out that you always have something thoughtful and interesting to say. A treasure in the age of Facebook blather and Twitter tweeting. Cheers, Phil.
Oysters in Arizona. Must be the cacti variety.
